In my PhD, obtained from Aalto University in Finland, I studied brain activity during movie viewing with magnetoencephalography (MEG) and fMRI. In the current project at Bishop Lab, my goal is to understand individual differences in perception of natural faces, and to explore how emotion- and identity -related facial information is represented in the cortex. To extract information from complex brain activity, I am using fMRI and machine learning methods.
